I stand with Episode RPers, even if Episode doesn't!

Episode RPers: You Have a Home With Us

So, Episode has decided to shut down their Role-Playing and Story Games section, leaving a lot of dedicated RPers out in the mud. Even though I’m not involved in the RP Section, I can’t help but feel shocked and confused. The RPers were some of the nicest, most active people on the Episode Forums, and they are being tossed aside like they never mattered. I can’t even imagine how they feel right now! So I wanted to write a quick letter to all of those devastated RPers out there who are feeling like they’ve lost their home.

As many of you may know, Episode kicked me off the Forums back in June of 2019. I was shocked. Crushed. Distraught. So believe me when I say I get how it feels. I know you don’t want to lose all of your friends. I know you don’t want to leave behind all those memories. Of course, RPing on Episode was a source of joy for you. It makes sense that you feel lost. But you don’t have to let that go.

I will welcome every single Episode RPer to the ShanniiWrites Forums with open arms. My staff and I will listen to you and try to make changes to make your lives easier. We have a dark mode for those cheeky night-time sessions. We have the Mentors and Apprentices tags for any RPers who want to help new members. You can join a premium Restricted Section for those saucy NSFW Role-Plays. I will be introducing an RPer of the Month award – anything to make us a more welcoming home than Episode.

Yes, I want my forums to grow. I can’t pretend I don’t. However, this is about so much more than that to me. I know what it feels like to have your friends circles slip away when you lose access to Episode. I will not let that happen to anyone else if I can have a say in it.

So, Episode RPers, you will always have a home with us.

Happy Role-Playing.
