Where do Donations go?
On ShanniiWrites, transparency is extremely important to us. We want to make sure that you know exactly where your money is going and how we are going to use it. So, this is a brief run-down of how we use the donations you send us.
All donations go to me, Shannii, directly. First and foremost, I use donations to pay for the website and the Forums. This involves the following things:
- Forums server costs. (DigitalOcean)
- Extra storage for the Forums. (DigitalOcean)
- Website costs. (WordPress.com)
- Plugin costs for the website. (BuddyBoss, Yoast SEO, BetterDocs)
- Paying MailGun for the Forums emails.
- Paying for the yearly FontAwesme subscription for the custom badges.
Then, once these are taken care of, my next priority is to get the books and over material I need to make great blog posts.
Finally, I use any leftover money for food, rent and other expenses so that I can keep working on improving the Forums and giving you the blog posts you deserve!
